Happy Fall to All!
October 18th Cemetery Prayer Service for Jr. High & H.S. students. Arrive by 6:45. Be sure to fill out a parent consent form, if you have not already done so. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight. We leave the parish
center at 6:50 p.m. Snacks, hot cocoa and hot apple cider will be provided at the parish center following the service. Middle school parents are asked to send cookies or bars. Certified Drivers needed. See Mary Q. on what to do to get certified.
Wednesday, October 25th Family Night –St. Matthew’s Religious Ed. Program is hosting a family night. There will be a pumpkin carving contest to be voted on and awarded. Bring your decorated pumpkin to the parish center by 5 p.m. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded. We will enjoy Sloppy Joes, treats and more. Our main topic of the teaching is about ‘Holy Days of Obligation’. Come with your questions. Fun fall crafts for the kiddos, too. We are asking families to bring a salad, cookies or chips to share. We hope to see you there!
Friday, October 27th- A Halloween Dance will be hosted by St. Matthew’s middle school students and
volunteers. See the sign-up sheets in the foyer of the church or the parish center. COME JOIN THE Fun!

* St. Matthew's Religious Education program reserves the right to cancel and/or change the dates for classes and/or activities should it become necessary with notice to families via email, website and/or bulletin announcement. Also, when Sidney Public Schools unexpectedly, cancels or lets school out early, Religious Education classes will be canceled.

Volunteer Ministry Assistance
Faith Formation is an ongoing process involving the entire family. We are always in need of assistance. Please indicate the areas in which you may be able to assist in this ministry. We will be sure to use your talents at the same day and time as your child/children.

- Meal/Snack Prep
- Hospitality Committee (Set up, serve, cleanup before & after classes & at receptions following Advent Program, Confirmation with First Eucharist & Reconciliation liturgies. )
